Got Questions?

Here are a number of frequently-asked questions that we get:

How much personal time will it take?

In addition to weekly rehearsals throughout the year, there is an annual show in February and numerous sing outs throughout the year.  We also participate in the Arizona Division Competition in April of each year. We tend to perform in and around our area about 10 times per year for local festivals, business events, charitable events, as well as participating in holiday and arts festival events.

What is the cost?

$105 per year (BHS Dues); $25 (Far Western District Dues) and $10 local Chapter dues.

What is the audition procedure?

New member applicants will be auditioned by a designee of the Music Committee.
We will determine your voice part during the audition.

Do I have to be a great singer?

No, but you need to be able to "carry a tune".  You do not need to be able to read musical although that is helpful. There will be opportunities to learn to read music in the chapter.

How do I learn the songs?

Sheet music and CD's will be provided to all chorus members to assist in the learning process. Listen to the CD's during the week and then come to the chapter meeting ready to sing your part.
